About Us
During the first two pilot years the school has been offering:
Short (one- to three-week) courses in filmmaking, set design, production, post-production, and creative writing
Film screenings followed by Q&A and artist talks dedicated to the aspects of practical filmmaking
Master classes with Uzbek, Russian, and European film professionals involving different aspects of filmmaking
(practical filmmaking, screenings and master talks, work with archives and found footage, documentary
filmmaking, experimental film)
Short practical courses for professionals working on set (1st AD, line producer, casting, etc.)
In first two years the school has started a long-term training initiative: Women Watch Uzbekistan, a film project
accelerator aimed at professional growth of female directors and producers from Uzbekistan and other Central
Asian Countries.
It aims to discover emerging female voices in film, to promote socially relevant topics and female
narratives in Central Asia, and to help in their development and visibility. The long-term goal of the accelerator is to establish regular opportunity for women filmmakers to boost
their professional skills and have a better chance for leading positions in the industry
We create a safe space for young film professionals of all genders to study and work.

Uzbekistan
Focus on Central Asian narratives and the opportunity to make them part of the global discourse.
Providing students with professional tools to create their own stories and contribute
